The Vietnam War: A Memoir of a Lifetime

I find myself still admiring usually what they achieved in the framework of a disaster. One was always mixed up between horror at some of the stupid people who did bad things, both in uniform and out of it. I don't think we've ever seen the kind of freedom to show news the way they did in that war. Some Americans went to their graves believing that reporters betrayed their country while winning plaudits around the world.
