Peeling Butternut Squash - The Final Layer
If you peel a butternut squash, third layer will appear right before your eyes. The sap is meant to protect the squash from an animal bite. But it's also no match for carving knife. Once you cut into it, you're making big holes in the place it would normally patch over with its sap. And any bacterio that land in or mould, you'll see it as black and blue pokadox.
