Using Rust in a Production Environment

I haven't found a real reason to use rust yet. Like I understand the pros, you know the pros of it but there really hasn't for me been a use case like you just explained about having to do this high level of processing on large files. And even after I put it in production I was like, freakin out like because I get it's like totally new technology I don't know what's going to happen. So they asked me to help them out with that.
