How to Write a Book in Your Leisure Time

David Maxwell says, you seem to do so much. Full-time professor, podcaster, continually learning more broadly. I honestly don't know where you find the time. Sometimes people ask me, what is your routine for writing a book? I just got a laugh. There's no routine. Whenever I can find the time and the inspiration that I work on the book, that's my routine. In terms of dividing things up, the podcast is a special case. The podcast is a weird thing, which is not really academic work,. Not even really book writing, which is semi-academic. It's intellectual work.
