Is There a World Vision?

For JH Bavingk, a world vision is untested. So your community tells you to live your life on these particular bases as though they are true. And actually he thought that most people do that for the whole of their lives. They live with kind of an untested faith that the way that their community has taught them to desire things to be in the world and want to exist themselves. It can only guide your next step, it can never show you the whole thing. But if you never put it to the tests, and if you never look to move from creature to creator, then your home coordinates actually become a kind of prison that you're stuck with them.
