i've heard a lot of educators say that they love teaching middle schoolers. They said, it's mainly because the kids can be so earnest. You know, they're not jaded like high schoolers. And i' got to say, as a parent having a middle schooler, this has been my favourite age so far. Like, i'm floored by her curiosity. And actually she's so much easier to reason with now, and she's become so kind. But like, middle schoolers do have this reputation of being ass holes. I think we can get ourselves in check.
