Reverse Engineering Enlightenment

I want to reverse engineer enlightenment. I want to understand what the perennial problems are, and using this machinery, what are the practices we can use in order to address the perennial problems. That's what I'm going to take enlightenment to mean. Int is the set of practices that ameliorate the perennial problems and alleviate us from the distress and the suffering that they inflict upon us.
