He invented 13 languages, but and several of thoe languages, he felt like ah, the languages needed to be explained about how they were developed. He had to write all these epic stories to explain how the languages emerged. And so that became lord of the rings, one, two and three. Oa, he never got similarly an published in his lifetime.
