What Is the Difference Between Nonconformity and Conformity?

There's a lesson here that emerson can offer to people living in modern times. The needs of society and the needs of the individual don't always necessarily aline. If conformity comes about by looking outside of ourselves for how we should be feeling about the world, then true nonconformity is only going to come from a turn inward.
