How to Analyze HTTP Traffic in Kafka
Kafka is an event store that basically stores every single HTTP request that's coming across our wire. We've developed some tools internally that allow us to inspect that stream and filter it, you know, based on basically we add new criteria to that every time there's an investigation that requires something new. So yeah, combination of looking at the Kafka stream directly to determine what data are coming in as well as looking at monitoring tools like logs or honeycomb.
