England face Italy in their opening Euro 2016 qualifier on Tuesday night. The Three Lions have struggled with penalties in the past. Gary Linneker, Stuart Pierce and Chris Waddell all failed to score from spot-kicks at World Cup 1990 when England were knocked out by West Germany after a penalty shootout. Two years later, they lost 2-1 against our old rivals again - but this time Pierce managed to score. Sturridge's goal could be just what we need if he can fulfill his role of 'goal machine'
