The Importance of ISAs
There are around 27 million ISAs out there and apparently the moment 12 million people are contributing towards them. 41% of the money that the government loses in foregone tax revenue, 41% of that goes to the richest 10% of households - they also hold 29% of the total cash in ISAs as well. There's a growing call for ISAs to be reformed but I'm just not sure by taking away benefits from wealthy people we're going to necessarily save any money. What do you think?
