CHAPTER

The Importance of Portion Size in America

In Europe there are many small streets and narrow lanes. The word narrow refers to something that is skinny or thin but we only use it in certain contexts like a narrow door or a narrow street etc. So these big American trucks would not fit on roads in Europe I think. Another stereotype that I can think of is that Americans sue people a lot. To sue someone means that you take them to court to try to get money from them because they did something wrong or they did some injustice to you.
