This documentary also claimed that sheens was sometimes withholding first month wages for workers, which I have never heard of before. This is something that caused major issues in China before it. They've had protests where people were getting paid like net 30. Imagine you're getting this raw deal. You got to work 16 hours a day, one day off a month and they pay you net 30. That's crazy. And then sometimes the factories would shut down and not pay their workers. So this would be another thing. Like do they have guaranteed pay on what cadence do they get paid?
