Is the Pandemic Over?

Theory that the virus will become less virulent as it evolves is based on wishful thinking. The idea rests on a very logically sounding principle, says Dr Andrew Hammond. But for viruses like saskov which do most of its spreading before it actually severely harms its hosts, there's no strong pressure for the virus to become less harmful. And then there is another often repeated phrase, the pandemic will be over when coved 19 becomes endemic - but does that word really mean?
