How to Read Poetry in the Bible
Maitana DeWitt: We've talked a lot about poetry over these past two episodes. What are some, are there any final examples you'd like to give or maybe even some, some final thoughts on how to read poetry in the Bible? I would close with this piece of poetry that is many people think is the very first worship song about Jesus. It's called the Christ him in Philippians two. Most New Testament scholars think Paul is quoting a known piece of literature and a known poem.
