The Trial of Socrates

The amount of jurors at Socrates's trial was a little over 500. So yeah, 501 people were at his trial and he was found guilty by 30 votes. Plato says that if it had just been 30 of the votes had been otherwise Socrates would have been acquitted. The jury voted to just intend to death. They would agree to exile Socrates not to kill him because killing someone in the ancient times was kind of rare.
