In 18 57, there was a french scientist who had this idea in his head that it should be possible to record human speech. He made several recordings, but he never could develop an instrument to decode those those waves and register again as sound. And so he was forgotten. But year two thousand three french researchers were were inthe academy of sciences in paris,. They came across these like parchments that had these right, strange graph like markings on them. So they translated these into digital code, played them back, and all they heard was static. The music was there, until somebody attended to it in the right way, and then the voice was heard.
