Ayara and the Smart Ships

Even before the war had ended, people argued that the smart ships were too great a threat. Some were immature, blindly loyal or emotionally unstable. Years of training had taught the captains to deal with these issues with detachment and forced overrides. But when one ship refused to go into dry dock Ayara was left wondering what to do.
