Building a Comprehensive Oversight Team

SMA went from a family around company to a PE back company. Do you think your team really understood the difference at the time? I would say yes and no. We swapped every single position on the leadership team within a two-year period of time. It wasn't tweaks and tuning, it was like rip the engine out and put a new engine in. And that's where we ended up with very significant transformation on our leadership team.
