What Are the Differences Between Wills and Trusts?
For 95% of you, a will is really all you're going to need to establish a rock solid estate plan. Unless you have over a million dollars in assets, then a will is just fine for your situation. A trust takes effect as soon as it's created in sign and a will does not go into an effect unless you pass away. Will are also public record while trusts remain private. This way you can avoid probate in a way that don't allow the breakdown of those two wills.
