The Safety of Half Squats
Mike Edwards: I wouldn't go as far to say that we're wrong in doing a half squat. He says it's an effective training tool for getting full activity out of the quads, the glutes, the hamstrings,. We want full strength training in that range of motion and given that it's taught appropriately and asymptomatic for individuals, it's something safe and something that we should be programming. Mike Edwards: Typically, the supine variation, straight leg with a little bit of traction on it is helpful.
