The homicide rate fell sharply under one mayor in particular, michael nutter. He focused specifically on the young guys who were most likely to be involved with gun violence. Nakisha and dominic like the new neighborhood. It was safer. And as dominic grew, filly as a whole was getting safer too. What i wanted was a change in behavior by folks who might normally carry a gun.
