African Zoos Don't Have All the Interesting Animals

Africa's got a lot of interesting animals, but they don't have all the interesting animals. They certainly seem to be disproportionately blessed in unusual animals. The ancients were well aware of this. And some of these animals, I think the mountain gorilla was believed to be a cryptid as late as the late 19th century.
