Stearns County Sheriff's Office was in charge of the Jacob-Wetterling case. Investigators from back then were dismissive when asked if they knocked on doors to ask people what they saw that night. A reporter dug up old city directories at a local archive and used those to figure out who lived on the dead end street, the boys bike down on October 22nd, 1989. Some of them have since died but Curtis tried to find as many as he could.
