Is Irony Defining Liberalism?

Oten: To what extent do you think irony defines this movement? Oten: I find it's hard to know how serious they're being. There is a huge amount of, like, really genuine earnesty that the irony is a kind of protective layer against. And i think if you spend a little time around the ecosystem, you'll see how those two things interplay. But at first it can be very, very, very confusing.
