Is There Too Much Room for Data in Qualitative Research?

I often feel like so. Am, so, of course, qualitative research is not just telling stories without data. It still contains data and sone but i do feel like, for example, res research just affords more freedom. I would like to see it just like pure theory, without reference to shorty studies and so on. That's a question that i've asked some of my undergraduate students. Would you rather listen till i coud tad where somebody is just like telling you their intuitions, or something mere? They always want to tell you completely about data a and they always want to hear about data. So there needs to be like a nice illustration with data. And so
