The Importance of Being a Nerd

I didn't really see myself in medicine until I actually went to the Cancer Society and started dealing with the children. That's crazy, the seed was planted when you had that interaction with the kids. Medicine was always a choice. It was always on the table. You mentioned that you were a nerd a few moments ago. Yeah. Has that helped you in your schooling days? Yes. I learn and I have photographic memory. Does it serve you both positively and negatively? Yes. If you did me wrong, I would never forget it. Never.
