Trillium Diversity in North America

There are thought to be three areas in the world where trillium diversity kind of concentrates. The highest concentration of trilliung species is going to be in the american southeast. And you're going to find more species in those areas where there is a lot of diversity because of that evolutionary history. I'm always fascinated by their intimate relationship with independence, really, on or dependence with ants.
