The chances of a single shot at getting that championship is so tough when you have everyone competing. You almost always have to be like a 55 win team or better to win an NBA championship. When you put high level players on really great teams, one season of Michael Jordan actually isn't as good as two or three or four seasons of Scotty Pippin.
