I've been working on a wee theory about what the future of journalism needs to look like. I think that impartiality, this ethic that the media was built upon, i.e. to be unbiased is not built for today's world. And certainly it's a sort of fallacy to pretend that impartiality is the basis upon which good journalism is held when half of our journalism is completely partisan and a propaganda machine.
