Each individual unit of information has substantial significance and business impact on the company that is trying to analyze that data. In higher volume cases, an individual data point can be left out and it's not going to be a massive impact on the overall analysis. If you miss a critical event in logistics realm where maybe you say, I don't have a delivery event for this unit, so I have no idea where it actually is anymore. Now all of a sudden you've got a shipping container sitting in a dockyard for months when it should have been at the customer already.
