What's the Difference Between Cephas and Peter?

In John's gospel, actually, you can see this, John chapter 1 verse 42, where Jesus and Peter meet each other. It says, he brought him to Jesus and Jesus looked at him and said, you're Simon, the son of John, you'll be called Cephas. And then John explains, that means Peter. So even though Paul is emphasizing, he received the gospel himself from Jesus, Paul is not a spiritual long ranger. He recognizes that there's an ecclesial dimension to his ministry.
