The most important decision about the fate of next didn't even come from Steve Jobs now this was the right decision you could argue maybe years late but definitely the right decision. It took six full months of campaigning including the appeals of Intel's Andy Grove from the outside before Jobs capitulated in the summer of 1991 and gave his blessing it would turn out to be arguably the single most important decision that Jobs had ever made. Next hopes of a very pre-form oblivion shifted increasingly later desperately to the intel project which is doing software so that's where the book actually ends.
