The Tech Layoffs Since COVID-19
On Monday, Amazon announced that they're going to cut 9,000 more jobs after earlier layoffs. This is expected to extend into all aspects of its operations as technology firms continue to slash spending. The number of laid laid people laid off in Q two 2020, 60,141. This quarter alone, 152,850. And even last quarter, there was more than the pandemic.
