i think it's the case that one requires a great deal of psychological self awareness about our particular celves, not about the psyche in general, but about ourselves. The idea that you would have to go through a kind of purging of yourself, or self awareness a is justa, not a thought many people have toyed with. And so those cases fascinate me, and i think that we're all potentially like that.
