Jay Powell was the only Trump appointment to basically be renominated without even a question by Biden. He bought it into the talking points. That was 100% political. So this idea that the Fed is independent, like history now has shown us it is not like the there is massive political pressure on them. They've got a bad data set and they're driving with bad information.
