The World's Got a Whale!
A humpback whale became entangled in fishing ropes and was spotted dragging the fishing gear, including a couple of boys, for kilometres. Wildlife rangers managed to get the whale to execute a nifty, open-mouthed backflip, which set the ropes free. In England, the Kangaroos cemented their positions as favourites in the Rugby League World Cup by thrashing Scotland 84 points to zero. Across the ditch in New Zealand, our women's National Rugby Union team sailed into the Rugby World Cup quarterfinals,. Our T20 men's cricket team copped our walloping from New Zealand.
