Is There a Greater One Than John the Baptist?
The Bible describes John the Baptist as Elijah. He was born of women, and Jesus says there is no one greater than him. But he who is least in heaven is even greater because you have been raised up to be a son or daughter of the father by virtue of being baptized. There's underpentant cities not too far from Capernaum: Chorocene & Betzeda. In fact, Matthew says he's healing them all. And yet there were people who saw this and didn't change. They weren't willing to give their lives to Jesus.
