If this is your boyfriend, leave immediately. It's not worth your time and energy trying to help this man. You're completely justified in being verbally and emotionally abusive, but it is counterproductive. If you've never had in work history or you've had an inconsistent work history like this guy is going to be hard. I think my family have been more positive towards me. My issues would have gotten resolved way sooner.
