You're Dead to Me
Leonardo's Bird's Eye Plan View of Imola
In 1502, Leonardo makes a revolutionary bird's eye plan view of the city of Imola. He was being architect in general engineer to Cesar E. Borgia who is the son of the Pope. And leading a military campaign to conquer Romagna where he hopes to make himself Duke. The way this works, the fun with maths, is that you take your measurements using a surveying disc and calculate all the angles of the surrounding buildings. You measure out the key distances of the roads and squares by pacing them out on foot.
