Do Narratives Really Help Us Live Normal Lives?

I think that nelatives are extraordinarily helpful in social contexts. We remember narratives extremely well, perhaps because they are jusst attuned to the causeles structure of our segmentation of life. Narratives are just extremely good vehicles for episodes to be re evoked. So my inclination is to think that we employ these narratives to reminiscene and to recode our memories. And so i see them as feeting one from another,. its just like a really good way of episodic memory to be to be re elaborated with in community.
