I Promised Grannie to Stay With Her, and Then I Go Home
Archer is consumed by the same wants and the same longings as his wife. When he asks her to come home, she says: 'I promised grannie to stay with her' He can't let her go back to her husband; if i were to let her come, he said to himself, i should have to let her go again.
