My family has a smaller state there in the heart of the Schwatzwald, what you would call the Black Forest. This estate belongs to my brother, Henrik, and when he passed away descended to my nephew Wilhelm. He was barely in his 14th year when Henrik died, so myself and Clara have since made every effort to provide him with guidance and such affection as he may have lost. We felt at our duty to help guide him, where we could, along the path of virtue. There is such a silence there, as I have never encountered anywhere else on earth.
