Utilitarianism and Cost Benefit Analysis
I don't think that I have a moral duty to maximize the utility of the human race. My view of our mobile obligations strangers positively are actually very limited. There is an enormous moral difference between failing to save a person at low cost yourself and killing them in order to go and make a small amount of money. From a utilitarian point of view I understand that they're the same things but that just seems crazy to me.
