Using the Full Stop to Protect the Environment
Artist duo Dan Harvey and Heather Aykroyd got Tate de Clerc to declare a climate emergency. Fiona Banner, who you don't think of as an eco-artist, used one of her giant stone full stops that she was making for public spaces. Haroon Merza almost kick-started a little solar industry in Texas by creating standing stones that responded to the sunlight. Gary Hume has insisted his work only gets to dealers via sea rather than air.
