The Differences Between Virtues and Gifts
Both virtues and gifts are about kind of perfection in the person, right? And Aquinas talks about how the fact is that no, they are unique in different things. They just perfect different aspects of our human life. When we think about the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we're not talking about something. It's like God is violent and he is visiting his plans upon me from without in a way that doesn't correspond to my human flourishing,. We're talking about something that operates in us by you mode.
