Did Being in Federal Prison Change Your View of the Criminal Justice System?
In 19 96, i wrote a book that was published by harper perennial called the real war on crime. I represented children, juveniles, accused of crime, for two years. And i was so frustrated then with the system that i edited this book i'm called the real maran crime. The levels of incarceration in america never used to be this high. In the 19 seventies, they were not this high. Itis very obvious that prisons are starting, for a while, to serve a particular, i would say, a nefarious function in a society based largely on inequality of wealth,. which is what i would describe America as.
