Don't say no repeatedly to the same person over 24 hours, like you're sweetie or your kid. And it's not going to teach you more than the first time that you said no to them. I feel strongly about ghosting also and I actually wrote something on medium or LinkedIn earlier this year about ghosting. We don't realize how much pain we're causing by ghosting,. It's the pain of uncertain and the amount of mental bandwidth that that takes up. There are though situations where ghosting is the best idea because it can be more polite.
