Are You Lifting the Heavyest Weight?

When you do four sets of five, are you just lifting the heaviest weight possible? Are you progressively increasing, decreasing during the sets? Like, how do you think about what weight you're putting on when squatting in that scenario? So I want to be able to complete all the reps that I've assigned for myself. And so that's going to be very hard. If it's to failure, it's likely going to be the last rep of the last set. It takes me a while to do it because I'm resting in between sets.
